The fellowship section has large round tables that seat ten folks. We moved one table off on its own to be the presents table. We covered this table with a smooth pink table-cloth; our niece has learned she is having a girl. We set the bassinet in the center of the table. We decided to use our presents for the baby shower party decorations. I had purchased a pink and white baby blanket, which we hung over the side of the cradle. We pinned some rattles and other infant toys to the blanket using diaper pins. We then showed the little outfits that my sister had purchased. We finished the baby shower decorations for the gift table by putting a big teddy bear into the cradle. It's so much fun to decorating for a baby shower!

For the food service table we had an arrangement of freshly cut flowers from the local florist. She used soft pink carnations, baby's breathe and daisies for the collection. We determined that no other baby shower party festive decorations needed to be placed on this table. We did have pink napkins that we put on this table, along with a cake that was ornamented with a stork holding a small doll in a pink frosting blanket.

We had also ordered a corsage for our niece and 1 for every of the new grandmas to be. We felt that the room looked very good and we wouldn't have to spend a good deal of time cleaning up baby shower party decorations because they would all be sent home as gifts to our niece.

We had a big turn out for the baby shower party. My niece got quite a few very nice gifts. She was glad that we had the baby shower in a space that was not cramped. As she progresses with the pregnancy she is feeling more claustrophobic. Within 30 moments after the shower was over the fellowship section was cleaned up and we were going home.
